Employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders can report any suspected violations of our code of business conduct (anonymously if they wish) by mail, phone, email or fax to our global EthicsLine.
Employees also can use our online EthicsLine Interactive, which allows (if desired by the reporter) anonymous email engagement in four languages with our office of ethics and compliance and enables investigators to ask for clarification and give feedback online.
Third-party sales representatives are required to report any actions taken on Motorola Solutions’ behalf (e.g., sales calls and meetings with potential clients) so that we can monitor their activity.
Learn more about reporting an ethical concern.
In 2010, we developed and piloted an additional corruption risk assessment process for certain higher-risk transactions, meeting the goal set for Motorola, Inc. The process will be fully implemented in 2011. It is designed to help early identification, both at the bid stage and the project implementation stage, of corruption risk that may be unique to the particular transaction.
In 2010, employees, customers, suppliers and others made 783 reports to the office of ethics and compliance, down from 841 in 2009.
